3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is a process of creating three-dimensional objects by building them layer by layer from a digital file. It allows users to produce complex parts with a variety of materials directly from a printer.

 

The materials you can use depend on the type of printer:

  • FDM Printers use thermoplastic filaments such as PLA, ABS, PETG, and TPU.

  • Resin Printers use photopolymer resins that harden under UV light.

We stock a variety of filaments, resins, and accessories compatible with our 3D printers.

Regular maintenance includes:

  • Cleaning the nozzle and build plate.

  • Calibrating the bed and extruder.

  • Lubricating moving parts.

  • Checking for loose belts or screws.

Common reasons include:

  • The print bed is not level.

  • The nozzle is too far from the bed.

  • The bed surface is dirty or not suitable for adhesion.

 

Some materials like ABS or certain resins can emit fumes during printing. We recommend using your printer in a well-ventilated area or enclosure, especially when working with higher-temperature or resin-based systems.

 

Print time varies based on model size, layer height, and print speed settings. Small objects may take 30 minutes, while large or complex prints can take several hours or more.
